FAMILY DAY CARE HOMES Background: There was a change in the Health and-~ Safety code concerning allowing day care homes i ~ ¥ residential areas. The ordinance is to bring Ci zoning into compliance with State .laws. 2. ORDER OF BUSINESS Back~round: The City Clerk has requested that the -~ ~pproval of Council Meeting~Minutes be placed on L the~Consent Calendar to facilitate streamlining thee Agenda. This ordinance, when adopted, will imple- J ment this change. ~/ 3. USE OF BICYCLES, SKATEBOARDS, ETC., IN BUSINESS DIST. Patterson~ DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. , NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 2.04.070 TO THE BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE ORDER OF BUSINESS. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: SECTION 1. Section 2.04.070 is hereby amended to the Bakersfield Municipal Code to read as follows: 2.04.070 Order of business. At the time set for regular meeting of the city council, the members of the legislative body and the administrative staff shall take their regular stations in the council chambers, and the business of the council shall be taken up for consideration and disposition in the following order, unless o.therwise changed by the council: A. Invocation; B. Pledge of Allegiance; C. Roll call; D. Public statements; E. Hearings; F. Correspondence; G. Reports; H. Consent calendar (including actions on bids of less than $25,000, but excluding approval of negotiated, sole-source purchases); I. Actions on bids of $25,000 or more; J. Deferred business; K. New business; L. Council statements; M. Adjournment. SECTION 2.
