At its meeting of May 11, the Legislative and Litigation Committee addressed the issue
of the use of gas powered leaf blowers. The Committee has asked the City Attorney for
further clarification on the City's existing noise/nuisance ordinance. Committee members
are also seeking an equitable voluntary solution that balances the needs of opponents
and proponents on the use of gas powered leaf blowers.
I know this is an important issue with you and wanted to personally let you know what
