Please refer the following proposed repeal of an ordinance to
whichever 'committee you deem appropriate:
1) DEPAR~4ENT OF FIRE AND DEVELOPMENT SERVICES.
? Background:
The repeal of this ordinance is required because the
Department of Fire and Development Services no
longer exists.

ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD REPEALING
CHAPTER 2.20 TO THE BAKERSFIRT.T~
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
DEPARTMENT OF FIRE AND DEVELOPMENT
SERVICES.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Couhcil of the City of
Bakersfield as f~llows:
SECTION 1.
Chapter 2.20 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code relating
to the Department of Fire and Development Services is hereby
repealed.
SECTION 2.
This Ordinance shall be posted in accordance with
the City Charter provisions and shall become effective thirty
(30) days from and after the date of its passage.
