DeMond Lynn Edwards AGENDA SUMMARY REPORT LEGISLATIVE AND LITIGATION COMMITFEE Monday, October 5, 1992 12:00 Noon City Manager's Conference Room 1. Amendment to Chapter 5.06 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code Relating to AdUlt Entertainment Businesses (Michael Allford) Committee reviewed changes suggested as a result of legal case position. Committee report will be prepared for next Council meeting with Committee's recommendations. City departments (Police and Attorney) have reached agreement on concerns. · The proposal is mutually satisfactory with the City and the business concerned. 2. Proposition 167 - State Taxes. Initiative Statute. (Trudy Slater) Committee reviewed pros and cons of Proposition 167 and will solicit input from annual League Conference attendees for review at the next Legislative and Litigation meeting. 3. Proposition 156 - Passenger Rail and Clean Air Bond Act of 1992 (Trudy Slater) Committee reviewed pros and cons of Proposition 156 and will solicit input from annual League Conference attendees for review at the next Legislative and Litigation meeting. 4. Set Next Meeting Monday, October 19, 1992, 12:00 Noon. In Attendance: Chair Patricia Smith, Patricia J.
