CONSENT CALENDAR: 4.1 Non-Public Hearing Items 4.1a Approval of minutes for Planning Commission Pre- Meeting of March 17, 2008 and Regular Planning Commission Meeting of March 20, 2008. 4.1b Acceptance of Planning Director’s Report on Administrative Review 08-0354 (Castle & Cooke California) located on the southwest corner of Ming Avenue and Gosford Road. (Exempt from CEQA) Administrative Review of a request to add one new floor plan to the each of the two product lines previously approved for PUD (Planned Unit Development) No. 06-0332 in Tract 6779. (Ward 5) Group Vote 4.2 Public Hearing Items 4.2a Approval of Extension of Time Vesting Tentative Tract Map 6442 (SmithTech/USA) located on the southeast corner of Stine Road and Berkshire Road. (Exempt from CEQA). A request for an extension of time for a vesting tentative tract map containing 78 lots for single family residential purposes and a sump lot on 19.79 acres zoned R-1 (One Family Dwelling). (Ward 1) 5. PUBLIC HEARING – VESTING TENTATIVE PARCEL MAPS/ZONE CHANGES 5.1 Vesting Tentative Parcel Map 11783 (DeWalt Corporation) located approximately 660 feet south of Panama Lane, east side of Progress Road. (Environmental Impact Report on file). ? Items on this Agenda will be heard at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, but not necessarily in the same order. (Ward 5) RECOMMENDATION: Approve Roll Call Vote: 5.2 Vesting Tentative Parcel Map 11802 (Delmarter and Deifel) located on the southeast corner of East Brundage Lane and South Mount Vernon Avenue. (Negative Declaration on file). A proposed tentative subdivision containing 7 parcels on 14.9 acres for purposes of industrial development zoned M-2 (General Manufacturing) including a request for alternate lot and street design. (Ward 1) RECOMMENDATION: Approve Roll Call Vote: 5.3 Zone Change 08-0102 (Mark Sandoval) located on the east side of South Union Avenue, approximately 500 feet south of East Panama Lane. (Exempt from CEQA) A proposed zone change from R-3 (Limited Multiple Family Dwelling) to C-2 (Regional Commercial) on 0.63 acre for purposes of commercial development. (Ward 1) RECOMMENDATION: Approve Roll Call Vote: 5.4 Zone Change 08-0224 (Kimley-Horn Associates Inc.) located on the 2700 block of Ming Avenue, on the south side of Ming Avenue near Castro Lane (Valley Plaza). (Negative Declaration on file). A proposed zone change from P (Parking) to C-2 (Regional Commercial) zone on 4.06 acres for purposes of commercial development.
