Dear Mr. Rojas:
! am in receipt of a letter dated~July 14, 1994, from the City of~ Bakersfield Public
Works Department regarding the above referenced Maintenance~District, the
formation of which is a condition of approval for Tract No. 5~40~. I understand
that I have a right to file a protest at a hearing to be held at a time and place-to
beset by the resolution establishing the Maintenance District. I am also in
receipt of the Covenant Disclosing Inclusion in a Maintenance. District, which
includes the maximum maintenance assessment for the property within Tract No.
5540., l do not intend to protest the formation of the district, the boundaries of
the distr. ict, the fairness of the benefit ~formuia, or the amount of the assessment
on any parcel of property to be assessed._
By my signature on this- letter,. Kern Rio Bravo Partners 2 hereby waives the right
to the public hearing and the protest hearing required by Chapter 13.04 of the
6akersfield Municipal Code and, the Brown Act.
