REGULAR MEETING ACTION TAKEN
1. ROLL CALL
Present: Agency Members Cohen, Koman, Ordiz, Bentley,
Prince
Absent: Agency Members Mishoe, Takii
2. PUBLIC STATEMENTS
a. Presentation of a proclamation to the Bakersfield
Assembly Member Jean Fuller in recognition of the ground
breaking ceremony for the Baker Street Village.
Chairperson Prince announced he had received the proclamation
and presented it to EDCD Assistant Director Barnhard.
3. CONSENT CALENDAR
a. Minutes of the December 10, 2007 regular meeting.
b. Approval of department payments from December 3, 2007
to December 27, 2007 in the amount of $500,488.07.
c. Component Unit Financial Report (CUFR) for the
Bakersfield Redevelopment Agency for the fiscal year
ended June 30, 2007.

4. PUBLIC HEARINGS ACTION TAKEN
a. Resolution approving the sale of real property by the RA001-08
Redevelopment Agency for $40,000 to Hybrid Construction
in accordance with Health and Safety Code Section 33013
(b) for a small housing project within the Southeast
Bakersfield Redevelopment Project Area.
EDCD Director Kunz and EDCD Assistant Director
Barnhard made staff comments.

Motion by Cohen, seconded by Ordiz to approve the APPROVED

7. NEW BUSINESS
a. Agreement with Red Harden, owner of Carriage Masters RA08-001 "~
Automotive Painting and Repair Facility, in the amount of
$400,000, for relocation, re-establishment and loss of
goodwill costs.
EDCD Director Kunz made staff comments.
Motion by Cohen, seconded by Bentley, to approve the APPROVED

b. Filson Street Area Targeted Neighborhood Revitalization -
Housing Programs:
1. Single Family Rehabilitation Loan Program
2. Front Porch Grant Program
3. Foreclosure Policy
4. Down Payment Assistance
5. Down Payment Assistance for Manufactured Homes
Principal Planner Haynes made a presentation and made
staff comments.
Motion by Cohen, seconded by Bentley, to adopt fhe APPROVED

7. NEW BUSINESS
c. Election of Bakersfield Redevelopment Agency
Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson for Calendar Year 2008.
Motion by Cohen, seconded by Koman, to reappoint
Chairperson Prince, Chairperson of the Redevelopment
Agency for calendar year 2008.
Motion by Prince, seconded by Ordiz, to reappoint Vice-
Chairperson Bentley, Vice-Chairperson of the Redevelopment
Agency for calendar year 2008.
8. AGENCY STATEMENTS
Chairperson Prince wished everyone a Happy New Year.
Agency Member Bentley made comments regarding the Mill Creek
Project.
