3. CONSENT CALENDAR
a. Minutes of the January 7, 2008 regular meeting.
b. Approval of department payments from December 28, 2007
to January 31, 2007 in the amount of $573,250.28.
Motion by Koman, seconded by Takii, to approve Consent APPROVED
Calendar item 3.a. with the removal of item 3.6. for separate AB MISHOE
consideration.

Economic and Community Development Services Director
Kunz gave a computer presentation and provided an
update.

7. NEW BUSINESS
RA002-08
a. Resolution authorizing the purchase of one (1) tax- DEED 6820
defaulted property located within the Southeast Bakersfield
Redevelopment Project Area for the Southeast Infill
Housing Project.
Economic and Community Development Services Director
Kunz made staff comments.
Motion by Koman, seconded by Bentley, fo approve the APPROVED
Resolution. AB MISHOE
8. AGENCY STATEMENTS
Chairperson Prince announced the resignation of Agency APPROVED
Member Cohen in order to become the City of Bakersfield AB MISHOE
Convention and Business Bureau Manager. Additionally he
requested staff prepare a certificate of appreciation for Mr.
Cohen.
