ROLL CALL Present: Absent: Chairperson Mishoe, Agency Members Anthony, Arriola (seated at 4:07 p.m.), Davenport, Raphael, Schroeder Prince ACTION TAKEN PUBLIC STATEMENTS Jim Foss, Executive Director Centennial Garden, introduced Don Jaeger President of the Convention and Visitors Bureau who spoke regarding the ice rink. CONSENT CALENDAR Minutes of the special meetings of September 14 and 25,2000. Payments from September 21, to November 30, 2000 in the amount of $1,223,434.38. Component Unit Financial Report (CUFR) for the Bakersfield Redevelopment Agency for the Fiscal Year ended June 30, 2000. Mishoe requested staff provide a workshop to review the financial statements. Motion by Raphael, seconded by Arriola to adopt Consent Calendar Items a. thru c. FORWARDED TO CITY COUNCIL APPROVED AB PRINCE REPORTS a. City Center Ad-Hoc Committee Oral Report and Project Update. Executive Director Alan Tandy gave an update and answered questions. NAT 274 Bakersfield, Califomian, December 11, 2000 - Page 2 REPORTS continued b. Oral Report regarding the GRC Study. Assistant City Manager Alan Christensen gave an overview, computer presentation and answered questions. UNFINISHED BUSINESS None. ACTION TAKEN NAT NEW BUSINESS Resolution recommending Policy for Training Workshops for Bakersfield Redevelopment Agency Members and Project Area Committee (PAC) Members. Motion by Anthony, seconded by Schroeder, to defer action to the next meeting. Resolution establishing the dates of meetings for the Bakersfield Redevelopment Agency for the months of January through December 2001. Motion by Raphael, seconded by Davenport to adopt the resolution. AGENCY STATEMENTS Mishoe asked a question regarding a request from PAC members requesting 10% of monies from tax increments. Executive Director Tandy responded. Davenport asked questions regarding monies retained for PAC project requests. Executive Director Tandy responded. Conference with Real Property Negotiator pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8 regarding real property located at the southeast corner of 24th and R Streets (APNs 005-030-17 and 18); Negotiating Parties: Senior Real Property Agent Don Anderson and Mark Smith; Under Negotiation: Acquisition of Property. ACTION TAKEN AGENCY DIRECTED STAFF BEGIN ACQUIRING PROCESS NAT WORKSHOP None. 10.
