Maintenance District, located in the Ciry ,of .Bakersfield, California.
The real property herein described is located within the Consolidated Maintenance District and maybe
assessed on an ongoing, yearly basis for maintenance of a public park and landscaping on public rights-of way
within the district. The appropriate Street and Park Tiers will be assigned when landscape and park improvements
have been installed.
Although this property may have been assessed a lesser amount in the present tax year, the ultimate
estimated annual assessment for maintenance of a public park and public landscaping based on full buildout of this
district, is $146.70 per equivalent dwelling unit, based on ftscal year 2004-2005 dollars and labor costs of the
district. In each subsequent year, annual.. assessments may increase by the cost of living reflected in the Los
Angeles-Riverside-Orange County/All Urban Consumers Consumer Price Index. (See Bakersfteld City Council
Resolution No. 019-OS.)
This covenant may not be amended or modified without the prior approval of the City of Bakersfield. This
covenant shall run with the land.

our engineer will supply you with a computer disk copy of the map for your use.

Pursuant to my telephone conversation 6/27/94 with Jahn Stinson,
on behalf of my client, Dandy & Associates, ~ hereby request
annexation of Tentative Tract 5600-A into Maintenance District
~3-05. It may be more advantageous to include the entire
Tentative Tract 5600 along with Tentative Tract 5683 in the same
annexation if this can be done without sacrificing time or fees.
Please start these procedures immediately as we want to record
5600-A as soon as possible and this procedure is a condition of
approval.

Dear Mr. Rojas;
I am in receipt of a letter dated July 8,1994 from the City of Bakersfield Public Works Department
regarding the above referenced Maintenance District, the formation of which is a condition of
approval for Tract 5600. I understand that I have a right to file protest at a hearing to be held at
a time and place to be set by the resolution establishing the Maintenance District. I am also in
receipt of the Covenant Disclosing Inclusion in a Maintenance District, which includes the maximum
maintenance assessment for the property within Tract 5600. I do not intend to protest the formation
of the district, the boundaries of the district, .the fairness of the benefit formula, or the amount of
the assessment on any parcel of property to be assessed.
By my signature on this letter, (Property Owner) hereby waives the right to the public hearing and
the protest hearing required by Chapter 13.04 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code and the Brown
Act.
