SUBJECT: Maintenance District Requirement for Tract No. 6565.
Planning Department Applications require that the property within new subdivisions and
parcel map waivers be merged into the Consolidated Maintenance District. The
property owner at 609 Taylor Street is located in an older well established Multi Family
urea. These are apartments being converted into condos. The Multi Family property
owner has asked if this property can be excluded from the Consolidated Maintenance
District. This area is not within a maintenance district nor is a district proposed for this
area. This area is built out and the median islands on New Stine are already
constructed and include minimal landscaping funded by the general fund. Therefore,
can the Maintenance District requirement be waived for this Tract? (See attached map)
