The fence has an 8" wide concrete border, which sits level with our yard, but is above the sidewalk level by about 5 inches. The fence slats are cedar; 6' tall and they sit on the concrete border. The concrete border begins at a point about 13'2" from the curb and the fence slats sit 2" closer to the house at about 13'4" from the curb. We are also requesting approval to install a 4' tall wrought iron fence around the perimeter of the front yard, adjacent to the sidewalk.
