It does state that the customer is responsible for all permits (though it's in the boilerplate). After this incident, he has created a full size document that the customer also signs leaving no mistake that the customer is responsible for the permit. What also complicates this particular case is that Parks and Recs told him (and John Stark) that they didn't need a permit in the park. j He was adamant that he (and John) offered to pay the permit after he was told the female employee (I forgot her name) was wrong. And what he got instead was the hearing document instead. I'm sure you could debate his account... . After consulting with the Chief it was decided to send him a bill for the permit (_ a standard rate & not the weeker~l rate) and they both don't need to show up for the hearing. Please send Mr. Holbert the bilTand contact John Stark and let him know he doesn't need to show up as Ronco paid (or "settled" if it makes you feel better). While I don't like the idea of customers being responsible for permits because it's likely they won't follow up, until we ~ change the rule to "tent owners" being responsible for permits this is what we're stuck with. I appreciate all the effort you put into this. I would of liked to see him squirm a bit myself but this isn't the time. ~~~s2 ~- v~ ~~ ~ ~~ ~~e P~ a~o7/0 ~o l,o ~,K C 6~~ ~~ file://C:\Documents and Settings\rhuey\Local Settings\Temp\XPgrpwise\4548CB9ECITYDOMcit... 11/1/2006
