Yes or No SECTION 4: PRIVATE RESPONSE TEAM DESCRIPTION Do you have a group of employees trained to handle minor accidents involving hazardous materials at your business? Yes X or No If yes, you must explain the level of training and equipment they possess and how they are notified to respond. TIMEC - is our Maintenance Contractor and they supply BRC with a Hazardous Waste Crew. Each person on the Hazardous Waste crew has gone through the initial 40 hours of Haz Woper Training. The Hazardous Waste Crew must also go through annual refresher training that TIMEC coordinates. If BRC has some type of incident that requires the Hazardous Waste Crew's assistance, either the Shift Foreman will contact the Supervisor of the Hazardous Waste Crew or the crew will be contacted by BRC's Environmental Duty Person. The Hazardous Waste Crew has access to various types of PPE, vacuum trucks and various types of other equipment including a backhoe. We can rent Baker Tanks for temporary storage, and we have access to bins or the containment of hazardous waste. (see Attachment D) -Evacuation Plans 6) Procedures to coordinate with and assist the local emergency personnel that may respond to your business; (see Attachments E 8 F) --from Emergency Response Procedures 7) Who and how to call for immediate assistance in the event of an accident involving hazardous materials.
