A RESOLUTION OF THE BAKERSFIELD CITY COUNCIL
ESTABLISHING A POLICY THAT THE "BAKERSFIELD
SQUIGGLE" BE CONTAINED ON ALL PUBLISHED
NOTICES OF CITY PUBLIC HEARINGS
WHEREAS, the Legislative and Litigation Committee of City Council of the City of
Bakersfield recommended to the City Council that a policy be adopted by the City that the
"Bakersfield Squiggle" logo be contained on all published notices of City public hearings;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council did consider the recommendation of the Legislative
and Litigation Committee at its regular meeting of May 16, 2001; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt the recommendation of the Legislative and
Litigation Committee and ordered that such policy be implemented.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
1. The above Recitals are true and correct and incorporated herein.
2. All published notices of City public hearings shall contain the "Bakersfield
Squiggle" logo as referenced in Exhibit "A."
