1. ROLL CALL

Mayor Price, Councilmembers Rowles,
Carson, DeMond, Smith (seated 11:49 a.m.),
Sullivan, Salvaggio
McDermott
Motion by Rowles to adjourn to Closed Session at 11:45
a.m.
2. CLOSED SESSION
Conference with Legal Counsel §54957(b)
Public Employee Appointment/Employment -
City Attorney
Mayor Price recessed the meeting at 4:20 p.m. and
reconvened at 5:25 p.m.
Motion by Rowles to adjourn Closed Session at 7:00 p.m.
Vice Mayor Rowles announced the City Council held
interviews today, Thursday, November 5, 1998, for the
position of City Attorney. Six candidates were interviewed,
and the Councilmembers found all of the individuals to have
excellent qualifications and experience. However, at this
time, no decision has been made on the selection of a new
City Attorney.
3. ADJOURNMENT
