3. CONSENT CALENDAR
a. Minutes of the April 14, 2008 regular meeting.
b. Approval of department payments from April 5, 2008 to
April 24, 2008 in the amount of $280,605.30.
Motion by Bentley, seconded by Pickett, to approve Consent
Calendar items 3.a. and 3.b.

a. Amendment No. 1 to Agreement No. RA07-012 Exclusive RA07-012(1)
Negotiation Agreement with Southwest Consulting, Inc. for
the development of approximately 38,000 square feet of
commercial and 67 affordable senior rental units at 501 19'h
Street.
Assistant EDCD Director Barnhard made staff comments.
APPROVED
Motion by Koman, seconded by Bentley, to approve the AB ORDIZ, TAKII
Amendment to fhe Agreement.
b. Agreement with Habitat for Humanity, Golden Empire for RA08-008
the purchase of a Bakersfield Redevelopment Agency DEED 6855
owned vacant parcel located at 1812 Filson Street for $1.00
to develop an affordable single-family home in the
Southeast Bakersfield Redevelopment Project Area.

Motion by Mishoe, seconded by Koman, to approve the
Agreement.
AGENCY STATEMENTS
Agency Member Koman announced he is now employed as the
Operations Manager of Berchtold Equipment Company and the
company's main offices are within the Baker Street Redevelopment
Area. The company is not involved in any of the Baker Street
Redevelopment Projects.
