Richard & Frances Ramkey Construct and maintain a 6 ft high fence within street right of way. Engineering and Traffic staff have reviewed the attached encroachment permit to allow the construction and maintenance of a 6 ft high fence within the street right of way along the side yard of 5916 Preston Court. The site has a single family dwelling upon it and is located at the northeast comer of Preston Court and Rio Bravo Road. The applicant has provided proof of appropriate insurance coverage to the Building Department representative, and has provided signatures of all immediate neighbors stating that they have no objection to the proposed construction. The owner is obligated to maintain the landscape strip between the sidewalk and the fence. Based on their review, staff recommends approval of the permit.
