King Installation of a Retaining Wall along Back of Sidewalk wi 6' Fence On Top FROM: DATE: SUBJECT: Engineering and Traffic staff have reviewed the attached encroachment permit to allow the installation of a retaining wall along the back of the sidewalk with a fence on top. The site has a single family dwelling upon it and is located on the comer of Alamosa Lane and Manitou Way. The total height of the fence and retaining wall can be no more than six feet when measured form the ground on the higher side of the wall. The applicant has provided proof of appropriate insurance coverage to the Building Department representative, and has provided signatures of all immediate neighbors stating that they have no objection to the proposed construction. Based on their review, staff recommends approval of the permit.
