LaRochelle - Engineering Services Manager DATE: SUBJECT: ENCROACHMENT PERMIT APPLICATION FOR 1918 M STREET ********************************************************************************************* Engineering staff has reviewed the attached encroachment permit to allow the underground installation offuel supply and return pipelines, and electrical conduit that will connect an underground fuel storage tank located on private property on the north side of the alley to the Pacific Bell building located on the south side of the alley (see drawing P-2). This installation will replace an existing underground tank located in City right-of-way beneath the sidewalk in M Street. The fuel is used to operate an emergency generator to provide power to the telephone facility in case of a power outage. The underground tank installation is being reviewed and pennitted by the Office of Environmental Services (Ralph Huey).
