Pursuant to the provisions of the Ordinance No.3140 New Series of the City of
Bakersfield, the undersigned applies for a permit to place, erectand/or
maintain an encroachment on public property or right of way as therein defined.

Bakersfield or such officers, agents or employees may suffer, or which may be
recoverable from or obtainable against the City of Bakersfield or such officer~

said public property or right of way to the condition as nearly may be in

Engineering and Traffic staff have reviewed the attached encroachment permit to allow the relocation of a
6' high wood fencefrom the property line to directly behind the back of the sidewalk along the sideyard (along
Dressage Drive) of the above-referenced residential lot. Adjacent residents have signed a petition in support
of the fence installation. Staff recommends approval of the permit.

APPROVAL OF A 4' HIGH CHAIN LINK FENCE LOCATED BEHIND SIDEWALK

Engineering and Traffic staff have reviewed the attached encroachment permit to permit the existing
installation of a 4' high chain link fence at the back of the sidewalk along both the front yard and sideyard
(along Chico Street) of the above-referenced residential lot. There are similar fences in the front and side
yards of other houses throughout this residential neighborhood. Staff recommends approval of the permit.
