INSTALLATION OF CONCRETE DRIVE APPROACH ENCROACHING INTO ALLEY

Engineering and Traffic staff have reviewed the attached encroachment permit to allow the construction of
a concrete drive approach into a portion of the alley behind the above-referenced address. The driveway shall
encroach a maximum of 12" into the alley, and the maximum height of the drive at the property line shall be
311 above the alley surface. A 3' taper on each side of the alley will bring the driveway back down to the alley
grade. Staff recommends approval of the permit. '

Encroachment Permit for driveway at 11619 Hageman Road (Encroachment into Alley)

The attached permit was reviewed by this Department, and will not be granted as proposed. This Department
will allow the driveway to encroach a maximum of 1 foot into the alley (instead of 2 feet), have a maximum
height of 3 inches at the right-of-way line (instead of 10 inches), and have tapers extending 3 feet on each side
