The driveway shall encroach a maximum of 12" into the alley, and the maximum height of the drive at the property line shall be 311 above the alley surface. This Department will allow the driveway to encroach a maximum of 1 foot into the alley (instead of 2 feet), have a maximum height of 3 inches at the right-of-way line (instead of 10 inches), and have tapers extending 3 feet on each side of the tlriveway.
