Engineering staff have reviewed the attached encroachment permit to allow the construction of a storm drain
line and outlet structure into a City owned and maintained retention basin for run-off from the new
Copeland's Sporting Goods store on Ming Avenue and Canter Way. Calculations for the line and 'oasin have
been submitted and reviewed. St~ff recommends approval of the permit.

TO THE CITY ENGINEER OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD. CALIFORNIA:
Pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 3140 New Series of the City of
Bakersfield. the undersigned applies for a permit to place. erect ,and/or maintain
an encroachment on public property or right of way as therein defined.
