CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
CONDITIONS FOR ENCROACHMENT PERMIT
4630 Easton Drive
1. Applicant shall construct at his sole expense all improvements to satisfy
conditions of encroachment permit;
a. Construct adequate concrete block retaining wall no higher than three
feet above existing grade. Fencing shall be installed either around
retaining wall or atop the wall to at least minimum City Ordinance
height as related to open waterways.
b. Construct adequate concrete floor within retaining wall area, for
rubbish container to rest upon.
2. Notify City Community Services Department, Agricultural Water Division
upon commencement of improvements and again upon completion. At no time
during period of construction shall the site be open to allow access to
canal or City owned property along canal. Secure temporary fencing will
be allowed,;during construction of improvements.
3. As consideration for use of City owned canal property, Applicant shall
pay a one time fee of $1.00 per square foot. The site is 5 feet deep
by15 feet long, therefore 5 x 15 = 75 square feet x $1.00 = $75.00.
The $75.00 is due at time of filing of application.
