The applicant is modifying an existing building as a chapel. The encroachment consists of a door which will swing open into the right-of-way on "H" Street. Staff has reviewed the application, location and sketch and recommends approval with the following condition: 1. Each side of the door must have a' ." .Ii planter area' to protect pedestrians from the door swinging open. This area must project from the building outwards to match the maximum arc the door will make when opening. The planters will be included as a part of this encroachment.
