The applicant is requesting an encroachment permit to construct a wood fence along his side and front yards. The side yard fence is proposed to be 6 feet in height and the front yard fence is proposed to be 3 feet in height. Staff has met the applicant at the si te and performed a field review of the proposed encroachment. Based on the field review and attached,sketch, ~ recommend approval of the proposed encroachment subject to the following conditions: 1. Applicant can construct fence no more than seven (7) feet from his property line. 2. Side yard fence along San Marino Street must be constructed such that existing down guy is on street side of the fence unless written permission is obtained by P.G. & E. allowing down guy to remain within fenced yard area. 3.
