Regular Meeting August 7, 2008 — 5:30 p.m.
Council Chambers, City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue
1. ROLL CALL
Present: Commissioners McGinnis, Blockley, Stanley, Andrews
Absent: Commissioners Johnson, Tragish, Tkac
Commissioner Blockley moved to elect a Pro-Tem Chairman due to the absence of Chairman Johnson
and Vice-chairman McGinnis's laryngitis, Commissioner Stanley moved to elect commissioner Blockley
as Pro-Tem Chairman, seconded by Commissioner McGinnis.
Motion carried by group vote.

Commissioner Andrews moved, seconded by Commissioner McGinnis, to approve Non-Public
Hearing Items 4.1 a.
Motion carried by group vote.
4.2 Public Hearing Items
4.2a Approval of Extension of Time for Vestinq Tentative Tract Map 6485(KB Homes)
4.2b Al2proval of Continuance of Amendment to the Planning Commission's Wall and
Landscape Policy related to Residential Subdivision Wall and Landsca a Design
Standard to August 21 2008.
4.2c Approval of Vesting_Tentative„Parcel Map 11810(McIntosh &Associates)
4.2d ,Approval of Vesting Tentative-Tract Map 7166(McIntosh & Associates)
The public hearing is opened on all consent items, no one from the audience or any
Commissioners wished to remove any items from the calendar. The public hearing is
closed except item 4.2b.
Commissioner McGinnis moved, seconded by Commissioner Stanley to approve the
consent calendar public hearing items.
Motion carried by the following roll call vote:

8. COMMUNICATIONS:
Mr. Movius referred to a memorandum received from the Public Works Department in response to
questions raised by the Commission regarding consideration of the Capital Improvement Plan for the City.
He also pointed out that at the next meeting there will be two draft EI R adequacy hearings, one for the
Gateway Project and the other for the canyons Project.

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 5:38 p.m.
