NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the regular meeting of the Budget
and Finance Committee of the City Council scheduled for Monday,
June 30. 2008, at 12:00 p.m. in the City Manager's Conference
Room, Second Floor of City Hall, Suite 201, 1501 Truxtun Avenue,
Bakersfield, California, has been canceled.

I Spoke with Alan Tandy and Nelson Smith and they have no problem continuing for a month. I will prepare a
cancellation notice and let the other Committee members and the HBA know we will discuss the matter at our
next meeting scheduled for July 28th.

Just a reminder about the Budget and Finance Committee next Monday June 30th at noon.
The only item on the agenda is the issue of Assessment Districts. Nelson Smith will be making a presentation.
I have notified the HBA of the meeting.
We will be sending out the agenda today.
