A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE SALE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
WITHIN THE DOWNTOWN BAKERSFIELD REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
PURSUANT TO A PARTICIPATION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE BAKERSFIELD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, CALIFORNIA
REPUBLIC BANK AND GUAY & DANIELSON
WHEREAS, the Bakersfield Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency") is
engaged in carrying out the Downtown Bakersfield Redevelopment Project (the
"Project"); and
WHEREAS, the Agency is considering carrying out a portion of the Project
pursuant to a Participation and Development Agreement (the "Agreement") between
the Agency, California Republic Bank and Guay & Danielson, which Agreement provides
for the sale of certain land (the "Property") within the Project Area and its
development pursuant to the Redevelopment Plan for the Project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has held a duly noticed public hearing on the
sale and Agreement as required by law;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. The sale of the Property by the Agency to California Republic Bank
pursuant to the Agreement, and the Agreement which establishes the terms and
conditions for the sale and development of the Property are hereby approved.
HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted
by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held
on the 21st day of September , 1977, by the following vote;
