A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD PRESCRIBING DOG LICENSE FEES
AUTHORIZED BY CHAPTER 9.08 OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE.
WHEREAS, Chapter 9.08 of the Municipal Code authorizes
the City Council to prescribe a bi-annual dog license fee and a fee
for a duplicate tag, by resolution, and the Council desires to pre-
scribe such fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield as follows:
1. That the bi-annual dog license fee shall be eight
dollars ($8) pursuant to Section 9.08.050(a) of the Municipal Code.
2. That the fee for a duplicate dog tag shall be two
dollars ($2) pursuant to Section 9.08.050(d) of the Municipal Code.
3. That this Resolution shall be effective upon the date
of its adoption.
4. That the Clerk is directed forthwith to transmit a
certified copy of this Resolution to the Finance Department of the
City of Bakersfield.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 24th day of August, 1977, by the follow-
