A RESOLUTION ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY
DESIGNATED AS "RIO BRAVO," TO THE GREATER
BAKERSFIELD SEPARATION OF GRADE DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield did, on
the 20th day of June, 1977, pass its Resolution of Intention
No. 47-77, to include certain property designated as "RIO BRAVO"
within the Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade District, setting
the time and place for hearing objections to the inclusion of said
territory within said District; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention was duly and legally
published once a week for two weeks, the first publication thereof
being at least twenty days prior to the date of the hearing as pro-
vided by law; and
WHEREAS, Wednesday, the 10th day of August, 1977, at the
hour of 8 P. M., was set as the time for hearing objections to the
inclusion of said territory within said District; and
WHEREAS, no objection has been filed or presented to said
Council to the inclusion of said territory or any part thereof within
the Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade District, and the Council
further finds that all of said territory will be benefited by its
inclusion within said District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND THE COUNCIL DOES
HEREBY FIND:
That no objection to the inclusion of said territory or
any part thereof within the Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade
District, has been filed or presented to this Council.
That said territory and every part thereof be, and the
same is hereby annexed to. and included within the said Greater
Bakersfield Separation of Grade District upon completion of annexa-
tion of said territory to the City of Bakersfield, which said terri-
tory is described in Exhibit '~" attached hereto.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 10th day of August, 1977, by the following
vote:

A.parcel of land situate in the County of 'Ken, State'of California, being all
or portions of Section 35 Township 28 South, Range 28East M.D.M., Sections 1,
2, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 24, Township 29 South, Range 28 East, M.D.M., Sections
1 through 20, Township 29 South, Range 29 East M.D.M., and Sections S and 6,

Beginning at the southwest comer of the north half of the southeast quarter of
Section 10, Township. 29 South, Range 28 East, M.D.M.~ said point being in the
exterior corporate boundary of the City of Bakersfield;

west line of said southeast quarter a distance of 43.86 feet to
the southerly right of way line of County Road No. 1774 (Alfred
