A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING THE SALARY SCHEDULE
INCLUDED IN RESOLUTION NO. 51-77 TO PROVIDE
SALARY INCREASES FOR POSITIONS IN THE POLICE
UNIT.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 51-77 sets salaries and related
benefits for officers and employees of the City; the City desires
to make amendment thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield that the Salary Schedule, a part of Resolution No. 51-77
is hereby amended as follows:
1. The following provisions are hereby added to the
Salary Schedule for the Police Unit:
"An additional 4% salary increase per position
effective on the first day of the second full pay period in July,
1977."
"An additional 4% salary increase per position effec-
tive on the first day of the first full pay period in April, 1978."
2. Section 4 (C) of Resolution No. 51-77 is amended to
read as follows: ........ ~ ...... ~ .......
C. Effective on the first day of the second full pay period
in July, 1977, fifty-seven dollars and sixty-nine cents ($57.69)
monthly per employee for:
(1) Police Unit.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 25th day of July, 1977, by the following
