A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD SETTING FEES FOR FINGERPRINTING
SERVICES PERFORMED BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, applicants for various permits, licenses, profes-
sions, school or other employment and similar activities are required
by law or otherwise, to furnish fingerprint cards bearing the legible,
rolled and flat impressions of such person's fingerprints, or sub-
stantially similar fingerprinting, prepared by the local law enforce-
ment agency and it is reasonable and proper that the City of Bakers-
field charge such persons a fee for all fingerprinting services per-
formed sufficient to reimburse the City for the costs incurred.
NOW, THEREFORE,~BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield as follows:
1. That the Chief of Police of the City of Bakersfield is
authorized and directed to charge the following fees for fingerprint-
ing services, to each person requesting and receiving such service:

Department of Justice
Fee For Processing

*Note:
The total fee is charged only when the fingerprint cards are
sent in by the police department for processing. Those per-
sons who retain the cards and send them in through their
employer or licensing agency will be charged only the $2
fee for rolling the impressions.
2. That such fees shall not apply to applicants for any
position with the City of Bakersfield.

effective on and after July 1, 1977, and shall supersede any and
all resolutions, orders or memoranda as to fees for fingerprinting
services by the police department.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
