A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT OF AGREE-
MENT NO. 76-153 APPROVED BY COUNCIL ON
DECEMBER 20, 1976, AND AUTHORIZING MAYOR
TO EXECUTE AMENDATORY AGREEMENT ON BEHALF
OF CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, Agreement No. 76-153 between the City of Bakers-
field and Union Avenue County Sanitation District, Alta Verde County
Sanitation District and East Niles Community Services District For
U~e of Bakersfield Subregional Wastewater Management Plan has been
fully executed by the parties thereto; and
WHEREAS, Section 29 of said Agreement states that it may
be amended or supplemented by agreement in writing and executed by
the respective officers of the parties as authorized by resolution
of the legislative bodies of the respective parties; and
WHEREAS, all parties desire to amend said agreement in writ-
ing, a copy of such Amendatory Agreement being attached hereto as
Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
hereby resolves as follows:
1. All recitals above are true and correct.
2. The Amendatory Agreement, attached hereto as Exhibit
"A" is approved and the Mayor is authorized to execute same on behalf
of the City of Bakersfield.
3. The City Clerk is directed to transmit certified copies
of this resolution to the public agencies designated by the Public
Works Director-.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 28th day of March , 1977, by the
