A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD ORDERING THE VACATION OF
A PUBLIC UTILITIES EASEMENT SOUTH OF
PANORAMA DRIVE AND EASTERLY OF CRESCENT
DRIVE, IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, on the 6th day of December, 1976, the Council of
the City of Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of the "Public
Service Easements Vacation Law," being Sections 50430 to 50445,
inclusive, of the Government Code of the State of California,
passed and adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 916, declaring
its intention to order the vacation of public service easements,
also referred to herein as public utilities easements, situated
in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California,
and being south of Panorama Drive and easterly of Crescent Drive,
City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California; and
WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for hearing
all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed vacation,
which said hearing was held on the 3d day of January, 1977, after
notices were duly published and posted as required by law; and
WHEREAS, this Council, after duly considering the matter,
does hereby find and resolve as follows:
1. That said public service easements also referred to
herein as public utilities easements, hereinafter described, are
unnecessary for present or prospective public use:
That parcel of land shown as a ten-foot Public
Utilities Easement in Lot 5, Tract No. 3513,
as said Tract is shown on a map recorded in
Book 25 of Maps, at page 10, recorded September
28, 1973, in the office of the County Recorder,
County of Kern, State of California.
2. That said public service easements be and the same
are hereby vacated and abandoned for public service easement purposes,
subject to and in conformity with the reservation of the easements
contained in and contemplated by said Resolution of Intention
No. 916. Reference to said Resolution of Intention is hereby
made for further particulars.
3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Resolution, and shall cause a certified copy thereof, attested by
the Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the office
of the County Recorder of Kern County, California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on 3d day of January, 1977, by the following
vote:
