RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING OFFICIAL STATEMENT RELAT-
ING TO CITY OF BAKERSFIELD 1976
WATER BONDS.
WHEREAS, this Council has heretofore provided for the
issuance and sale of $15,500,000 principal amount of City of
Bakersfield 1976 Water bonds; and
WHEREAS, there has heretofore been submitted to this
Council, a form of Official' Statement prepared with the assistance
of L. F. Rothschild & Co. relating to said City of Bakersfield
1976 Water Bonds;
NOW, THEEFOE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED
that the Official Statement prepared with the assistance of L. F.
Rothschild & Co. and Bache~Halsey Stuart, Inc., and heretofore
presented to this Council, is hereby approved in substantially the
form presented. The Finance Director is hereby authorized to'
execute such Official Statement with such additions to or changes
as he may deem necessary or desirable, such execution to be con-
clusive evidence of any approval authorized hereby, and L. F.
Rothschild & Co. are hereby authorized to mail copies of such
Official Statement to prospective bidders for the City of
Bakersfield 1976 Water Bonds.

I, H. E. BERGEN, City Clerk of the City of Bakersfield,
California, do hereby certify as follows:
The foregoing is a full, true and correct copy of a resolu-
tion duly adopted by the Council of said City, at a regular
meeting of said Council duly and regularly and legally held at
the regular meeting place thereof on November 15, 1976, of which
meeting all of the members of said Council had due notice and
at which a majority thereof was present.
At said'meeting said resolution was introduced by Councilman
Rogers and was thereupon, upon motion of Councilman
Rogers , seconded by Councilman ,
adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen; Bleecker, Medders, Rogers, Sceales,
Strong
NOES: Councilmen:r None
ABSENT: Councilmen: Barton, Christensen
I have carefully compared the same with the original minutes
of said meeting on file and of record in my office and the fore-
going is a full, true and correct copy of the original resolution
adopted at said meeting and entered in said minutes.
The original resolution has not been amended, modified or
rescinded since the date of its adoption and the same is now in
full force and effect.
