HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 10-76RESOLUTION NO. 10-76 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD ADOPTING PARK STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES, REQUIREMENTS, FEES AND DEPOSITS PURSUANT TO AND SUPPLEMENTING THE PARK ORDINANCE. WHEREAS, Section 5.40.030 of the Municipal Code, author- izes the City Council, by resolution, to establish park standards and guidelines, fees and deposits and other requirements and requires that such resolution list the parks and facilities which may be reserved, the type of activities permitted, permits, faci- lity reservations, approvals or insurance required, maximum occupancies for the various parks and facilities therein, and other regulations for the proper administration of the parks, not inconsistent with Chapter 5.40 of the Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the Council desires, pursuant to the Parks ordinance, to establish standards and guidelines which enumerate the various parks in the City and the designated areas, facilities and accommodations therein, available to the public by permit, and maximum park occupancy; types of assembly for which facility reser- vations and permits are required and other requirements; together with a schedule of fees, deposits and insurance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD AS FOLLOWS: 1. The standards and guidelines as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, are incorporated in this resolution as though , fully set forth here in and hereby adopted. 2. The standards, guidelines and requirements as set forth in Exhibit "B" attached here to are incorporated in this resolution as though fully set forth herein and hereby adopted. 3. The schedule of required fees, deposits and insur- ance as set forth in Exhibit "C" attached hereto, are incorporated , in this resolution as though fully set forth herein and hereby adopted. o0o I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the Council of the.
