A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 42-75,
SETTING SALARIES AND RELATED BENEFITS FOR
OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 42-75 sets salaries and related
benefits for officers and employees of the City; the City desires
to make amendment thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield that the Schedule of Salaries, a part of Resolu-
tion No. 42-75, is hereby amended as follows:
1. The following positions under the White Collar Unit
are hereby deleted:
639 A
641 A
Police Communications Operator
Communications Operator
deleted.
2. The following position under the Fire Unit is hereby
625 A Communications Operator (Fire)
deleted.
3. The following position under the Police Unit is hereby
115 A Police Communications Sergeant
Collar Unit as follows:

I, having served in Step 5 of such class for one year shall be
classified as Communications Operator II upon written approval of
the Department Head and the Civil Service Commission.
5. The following position is hereby added to the General
Supervisory Unit as follows:

6. This Resolution shall be effective on January 1, 1976.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 1st day of December, 1975, by the
