RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD CONSENTING TO ASSIGNMENT OF
AGREEMENT FOR LEGAL SERVICES FROM INDI-
VIDUAL. TO CORPORATION.
WHEREAS, Agreement No. 79-68, as amended by Agreement
No. 74-121, provides for the rendering of legal services to the
City by Eugene B. Jacobs, an individual, and compensation for
such services to said individual, by the City; and
WHEREAS, the' said Eugene B. Jacobs, as an individual
engaged in the practice of law, desires to assign the duties,
burdens and the rights and benefits of Agreement No. 79-68 and
all amendments thereto, to Eugene B. Jacobs, Inc., a corporation,
and has requested the consent of the City of Bakersfield to such
assignment; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield is
willing to consent to such assignment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield as follows:
1. That the Council of the City of Bakersfield, acting
for the City of Bakersfield, a party to Agreement No. 79-68 as
amended, hereby consents to the assignment of such agreement, as
amended, including the assignment of all duties, burdens, and
rights and benefits, from Eugene B. Jacobs, an individual to
Eugene B. Jacobs, Inc.
2. That certified copies of this Resolution shall be
attached to Agreement No. 79-68 and Agreement No. 74-121 and a
copy thereof delivered to said Eugene B. Jacobs.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at
a regular meeting thereof held on the 27th day of October, 1975,
by the following vote:
