A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD TO INCLUDE CAR RENTAL
BUSINESS IN LIST OF PERMITTED USES IN
THE C-1 ZONE.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Bakersfield
did, on the 20th day of August, 1975, adopt a resolution finding
that the inclusion of an additional use, to wit: Car Rental Business--
Not More Than 12 PassengeR Cars in the C-1 (Limited Commercial) Zone
would not be more obnoxious or detrimental to the welfare of the
community than the permitted uses specifically mentioned in.Section
17.25.020 of the Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield has con-
sidered said matter and does find as stated above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield as follows:
1. That the above recitals are true and correct.
2. That upon the basis of the above determinations and
upon the authority of Section 17.52.040 of the Municipal Code the
following use, as conditioned, shall be considered as a permitted
use in the C-1 Zone in the City of Bakersfield:
Car Rental Business--Not More Than 12
Passenger Cars.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 25th day of August, 1975, by the follow-
ing vote:
