A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD ORDERING THE VACATION OF
THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 315 SITUATED BETWEEN
"H" AND EYE STREETS, CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, on the 21st day of April, 1975, the Council
of the City of Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of the
"Street Vacation Act of 1941," being Division 9, Part 3, of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, passed and
adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 905, declaring its inten-
tion to order the vacation of the alley in Block 315 situated between
"H" and Eye Streets in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern,
State of California; and
WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for hear-
ing all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed vacation,
which said hearing was held on the 12th day of May, 1975, after
notices were duly posted as required by law; and
WHEREAS, this Council after duly considering the matter,
does hereby find and resolve as follows:
1. That the alley in Block 315 situated between "H"
and Eye Streets in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State
of California, more particularly described as follows, is unnecessary
for present or prospective public street purposes:
That portion of the alley, being 33 feet in width, lying
between Lots 3 and 4, and Lots 5 and 6 of Block 315
as shown on the aforesaid map, excepting and reserving
for public utilities purposes the following:
Co~LmLencing~at the northwest corner of said Block 315,
traveling south along the west boundary line of said
Block, 143.7' to the point of beginning;
Thence (1) heading easterly 67.0' on a line parallel
to the north line of aforementioned Lots 5 and 6 in
said Block;
Thence (2) northerly, perpendicular to said lot line
a distance of 12.4';
Thence (3) easterly, 65.0' on a line parallel to said
lot line;
Thence (4) northerly 10.0' along a line perpendicular
to said north line;
Thence (5) westerly, parallel to described lot line a
distance of 65.0';
Thence (6) northerly 5.0' at a right angle to named lot
line to a point intersecting the south line of Lom 3
and 4 of said Block;
Thence (7) continuing westerly along last named line
a distance of 10.0';
Thence (8) southerly, 5.0' on a course perpendicular
to described north lot line;
Thence (9) westerly, parallel to aforementioned lot
line a distance of 14.0';
Thence (10) continuing southerly a distance of 12.4'
perpendicular to said north line;
Thence (11) westerly, on a course paralleling last-
named lot line 43.0' to a point on the west boundary
line of said Block 315;
Thence (12) southerly along said boundary 10.0' to the
point of beginning.
2. That'said alley in Block 315 situated between "H"
and Eye Streets, be and the same is hereby closed up, vacated and
abandoned for public street purposes, subject to and in conformity
with the reservations and exceptions contained in and contemplated
by said Resolution of Intention No. 905. Reference to said Resolu-
tion of Intention is hereby made for further particulars.
3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Resolution and shall cause a certified copy hereof, attested by
· e Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the office
of the County Recorder of the County of Kern, California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 12th day of May, 1975, by the following
vote:
