A. RESOLUTION OF THE COIrNC~-L OF THE CITY i¥
OF BAKERSFIELD ~tAK!NG FIND.!~NG CONCERNING '~!7~
PROPOSED SUBDIVISION: PARE'EL ~AAP 2901 ~
LOCATED ON THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF
CALIFORNIA AVENUE AND MARELLA WAY,
SOUTHWEST OF EASTON DRIVE AND WEST-
ERLY OF MONTGLAIR STREET.
WHERFAS, the State SUbdivision Map Act states that a
city shall not approve a parcel map unless the City Council of
such city shall find that the proposed parcel map, together with
the provisions for its design and L-nprovements~ is consistent with
the general plan and applicable specific plans of the city; and
WHEREAS, the City Flanning Commission, on ~AaPch 5 __,
19...75 , did make the finding required by the above statute and
recommended that the City Council make such finding; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission, on MaPch 5 ,
19.....75 , approved parcel map No. 2901 conditioned on the making
of the appropriate finding by the City Council unde-r State Sub-
division Map Act; and
WKEREAS, a copy of said parcel map, together with the
Planning staff report and other related papers and docLunents have
been filed with this City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield, as follows:
1. It is hereby found and determined that the proposed
parcel map No 2901 together with the provisions for its
design and improvement, is consistent with the general plan and
applicable specific plans of the City of Bakersfield.
2. Ihat'a copy of this Resol~tionl'~be forthwith trans-!~Zs~.-
mitted to the Planning Department by thaiCity Clerk.
