RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING FOR
CONTRIBUTION OF PART OF THE COST AND
EXPENSES OF CERTAIN WORK COMPLETED IN
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 894.
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets of the City of
Bakersfield, California, has heretofore, on the 3d day of January,
1975, made and filed with the City Clerk an assessment and diagram
for that certain work done under and pursuant to the Improvement
Act of 1911 (commencing at Section 5000, Streets and Highways
Code), and in Resolution of Intention No. 894; and
WHEREAS, in the opinion of this City Council, it is
desirable to provide for a contribution by said City of a part
of the cost of expenses of said work, which contribution is
authorized by Section 5125 of the Streets and Highways Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Bakersfield,
California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE and ORDER as follows:
1. A contribution in the amount of Three Thousand
Six Hundred Forty-Five Dollars and Forty-Nine Cents ($3,645.49)
towards the cost of the expense of said work is hereby provided
for and ordered to be made by the City of Bakersfield. Said
amount, together with incidental expenses (including work done,
engineering and legal expenses, printing, publication and posting
notices and preparing the assessment) in the amount of Ten Thousand
Nine Hundred Ninety-Five Dollars ($10,995.00) shall be deducted
from the total cost of expense of said work and the remainder of
said cost and expense shall be assessed upon the several lots and
parcels of land within Assessment District No. 894.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 24th day of February, 1975, by the
following vote:
