OF BAKERSFiELD MAKING FINDING CONCERNING

8741 LOCATED SOUTH OF KERN CITY GOLF
COURSE, WEST OF NEW ST!'NE ROAD, EAST
OF' T[:'~&,CT 3622'AND APPROXIMATE LY 300
FEET NORTH OF MING AVENUE.
WHEREAS, Section 11526 (c) of the Business and Professions
COde (Subdivision Map Act) states that a city shall not approve a
tentative or final subdivision map unless the City Council of such
city shall find that the proposed subdivision, together with the
provisions for its design and improvements, is consistent with the
general plan and applicable specific plans of the city; and
WHETS, the City Planning Commission, on January 2 ,
19 75 , did make the finding required by the above statute and recom-
mended that the City Council make such finding; and
WHE~REAS, the City Planning Commission, on ~anua~v_2 _,
'!9.....Z5_, approved the tentative map of Tract 3741 con~itioned
~on the making of the appropriate finding by the City Council under
said Section 11526 (c); and
WHEREAS, a copy of said tentative map, together with the
Plannin~ staff report and other related papers and documents have

been filed with this City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield, as follows:
1. It is hereby found and determined that the proposed
subdivision designated Tentative TPact 3741 , together with the pro-
'visions for its des. igm and improvement, is consistent with the
general plan and applicable specific plans of the City of Bakersfield.
2. That a copy o'f this Resolution be forthwith
mttted to the Planning Department by the City Clerk.

and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular

located South of Kern City Golf Course, West oF New Stine
Road, East of Tract 3622 and approx[matety 300 Feet North oF Ming Avenue;
and
~THEREAS, Section 11526 (c) of the Business and Professions Code (Sub-
division Map Act) states that a city shall not approve a tentative or final sub-
d[vis[on map unless the City Council of such city shall find that the proposed
subdivision, together with the provisions for its design and improvements, is
consistent with the genera[ plan and applicable specific plans oF the city;
and
INHEREAS, the City Planning Commission, on January 2, 1975 apbroved
the Tentative Map of Tract No. 8741 , cond[ti0ned on the making of the
appropriate finding by the City Council under said Section 11526 (c); and
'WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission, on January 2, 1975 did
make the finding required by the above statute and recommended that the City
Council make such finding.
NO~N, THEREFORE, BE IT .RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD that said Tentative Map off Tract No. 3741 be
appnoved on condition that the City Council make its appropriate finding.
