RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERS-
FIELD ADOPTING P. LANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, CAREFUL
ESTIMATES, DISTRICT MAP AND DIAGRAM FOR THE CON-
STRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER LINES, TOGETHER WITH
APPURTENANT LAMPHOLES, MANHOLES, WYE BRANCHES AND
HOUSE LATERALS AND ALL NECESSARY EARTHWORK AND
PAVING REPAIR IN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DIS-
TRICT NO. 896.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Bakersfield,
California, in compliance with the order of Resolution No. 25-74,
adopted on April 15, 1974, has submitted to said City Council the
estimates of the cost of, a map or diagram of the district to be
benefitted by, and the plans and specifications for the improvement
work and construction hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, after due consideration thereof, the City Council
desires at this time to approve and adopt such plans and specifica-
tions, cost estimates, map and diagram of the district to be bene-
fitted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield that the plans and specifications, estimates of the
costs, district map and diagram of the district to be benefitted and
assessed to pay the cost hereof, as the same were prepared by the
City Engineer of said City, and submitted and filed with the City
Clerk of the City of Bakers field on the 20th day of September, 1974,
be and the same are hereby approved and adopted for the following
improvement work and construction to be done in the City of Bakers-
field, to wit:
The construction of sanitary sewer lines, together
with appurtenant lampholes, manholes, wye branches
and house laterals and all necessary earthwork and
paving repair along Kennedy Avenue east of Akers
Road, Colleen Street between Kennedy Avenue and the
north boundary of Tract 3185 and Colleen Court.
That .the plans and specifications, careful estimates,
district map and diagram for said work are delineated and entitled
"For Public Improvement District No. 896."

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 23rd day of September, 1974, by the
following vote:
