A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ORDERING THE VACATION OF A PUBLIC
UTILITIES EASEMENT IN LOT 12, TRACT 3160,
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of August, 1970, the Council of
the City of Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of the "Public
Service Easements Vacation Law", being Sections 50430 to 50445,
inclusive, of the Government Code of the State of California, passed
and adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 855, declaring its
intention to order the vacation of a public service easement, also
referred to herein as a public utilities easement, situated in the
City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, and being
in Lot 12, Tract 3160; and
WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for hearing
all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed vacation,
which said hearing was held on the 31st day of August, 1970, after
notices were duly posted as required by law; and
WHEREAS, this Council after duly considering the matter,
does hereby find and resolve as follows:
1. That said public service easement also referred to
herein as public utilities easement, hereinafter described, is
unnecessary for present or prospective public use:
A ten (i0) foot easement between Lots 12 and 13
in Tract 3160 running between Hunter Avenue and
the alley on the south. Said easement being
five (5) feet on each side of propert~ line
between Lots 12 and 13. This ten (10 foot
easement to be relocated easterly between
Lots 11 and 12 of Tract 3160.
2. That said public service easement be and the same is
hereby va~ted and abandOned.for .~ub!ic' §e~yice e_a_~em_~e_p~_ purp0S~s.,
subject to and in conformity with the reservation of the easement
contained in and contemplated by said Resolution of Intention
No. 855. Reference to said Resolution of Intention is hereby made
for further particulars.
3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Resolution, and shall cause a certified copy thereof, attested by
the Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the office
of the County Recorder of Kern County, California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 31st day of August, 1970, by
the following vote:
