A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD ORDERING THE CONSOLIDATION
OF ASSESSMENTS NO. 89 AND 90 ON ASSESSMENT
ROLL NO. 246 INTO A SINGLE ASSESSMENT
NO. 89A, REFLECTING SAID CHANGE ON THE
ASSESSMENT DIAGRAM FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO. 839 AND ORDERING THE ISSUANCE
OF A NEW IMPROVEMENT BOND TO REPRESENT
THIS CONSOLIDATED ASSESSMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of July 20,
1970, adopted its Resolution of Intention to modify an assess-
ment in Public Improvement District No. 839, and
WHEREAS, notice of the public hearing required by
Council's Resolution No. 49-70 was duly mailed by the Clerk at
least 15 days prior to the hearing to all persons having an
interest in Lot 83, Tract 1232, Book 5 of Maps, Page 76 located
within Public Improvement District No. 839 and encumbered by
Assessments No. 89 and 90, and
WHEREAS, said hearing was held this 17th day of August,
1970, and all oral and written protests and objections, if any,
were fully heard in the Council Chambers, having given all persons
present an opportunity to hear and be heard in respect to any
matters relating to said modifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield
does hereby RESOLVE, FIND, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
1. That all written protests, if any, and
objections have been heard, received and
considered at the hearing relating to the
consolidation of Assessments No. 89 and 90
proposed by Resolution No. 49-70; and this
City Council does, by an affirmative vote
of four-fifths (4/5) of its members,

to Section 5233 of the Streets and High-
ways Code and orders the following:
That the amounts of Assessments
No. 89 and 90 shown on Assessment
Roll No. 246 for Public Improvement
District No. 839 be consolidated
into a single Assessment No. 89A
on Lot 83 in the amount of $284.68.
That the Assessment Diagram for
Public Improvement District No. 839
be amended to show Lot 83 encumbered
by a single Assessment No. 89A.
That the bonds formerly issued to
represent the unpaid Assessments
No. 89 and 90 be voided and a new
bond be issued to represent the
unpaid a~sessment No. 89A in the
amount of $284.68.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 17th day of August, 1970,
by the following vote:
