A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD APPROVING AND SUBMITTING A
CERTIFICATION OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY WITHIN
THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD REQUIRED FOR THE
WIDENING OF BRUNDAGE LANE BETWEEN UNION
AVENUE AND 1200 FEET EAST OF COTTONWOOD
ROAD.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 22-70 of the Council of the City
of Bakersfield approved Local Agency-State. Agreement No. 70-11
with the State of California for the construction of Urban Extension
Project U.E. 575-1; and
WHEREAS, said agreement provides that the City of
Bakersfield will certify to the Department of Public Works of the
State of California prior to advertisement for bids by contractors
that the necessary rights-of-way are available for the immediate
construction 'proposed for contract; and
WHEREAS, the rights-of-way for the Iportion of said
construction within the City of Bakersfield have now been acquired
outright, covered by right of entry, or order of immediate
'possession.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Certification
of Right-of-Way, Urban Extension Project U.E. 575-1, Brundage
Lane between Union Avenue and 1200 feet east of Cottonwood Road
is hereby approved, the Mayor is authorized to sign the same.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
'passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day of A'pril, 1970, by
the following vote:
