A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ORDERING THE VACATION OF A
SEWER EASEMENT IN LOT 114, TRACT 1645, IN
THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of January, 1970, the Council of
the City of Bakersfield, 'pursuant to the provisions of the "Public
Service Easements Vacation Law", being Sections 50430 to 50445,
inclusive, of the Government Code of the State of California, passed
and adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 850, declaring its
intention to order the vacation of a sewer easement in Lot 114,
Tract 1645, situate within the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern,
State of California; and
WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for
hearing all persons interested in or objecting to said pro'posed
vacation, which said hearing was held on the 9th day of February,
1970, after notices were duly 'published and posted as required by
law; and
WHEREAS, this Council after duly considering the matter,
does hereby find and resolve as follows:
1. That said sewer easement, hereinafter described, is
unnecessary for present or 'pros'pective public use:
A strip of land 10 feet in width, situate in the
County of Kern, State of California, and being
a 'portion of the NW 1/4 of Section 2, T 30 S,
R 27 E, M.D.B. & M. more particularly described
as follows:
The South 10 feet of Lot 114, Tract No. 1645,
said Tract as recorded December 18, 1952, in
Book 8 of Maps, Page 38, Records of said Kern
County.
2. That said sewer easement be and the same is hereby
vacated and abandoned, subject to and in conformity with said
Resolution of Intention No. 850. Reference to said Resolution of
Intention is hereby made for further 'particulars.
3. The City Clerk shall certify to the 'passage of this
Resolution, and shall cause a certified copy thereof, attested by
the Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the office
of the County Recorder of. Kern County, California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
'passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 9th day of February, 1970, by
the following vote:
