A-RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD MAKING ·FINDING CONCERNING
PROPOSED SUBDIVISION: TENTA~VE MAP OF
TRACT NO. 8728' LOCATED IN SOUTHWEST
BAKERSFI~'LD, SOUTH OF MING AVENUE AND
WEST OF STINE ROAD ON. HASTI ACRES DRIVE.
W11EREAS, Section 11526 (c) of the Business and Professions
Code (Subdivision Map Act) states that a city shall not approve a
tentative or final subdivision map unless the City Council of such
ctty·.shall find that the proposed subdivision, together with the
FroVisions for its design and improvements, is consistent with the
general plan and applicable s~ecific plans of the city; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission, on May 1, ,
19 74 did make the finding required by the above statute and recom-
· ·
mended that the City Council make such finding; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission, on May 1
. ,
49 74, approved the tentative map of Tract No. 8728 conditioned
o~ the making of the appropriate finding by the City Council under
sa~d Section 11526 (c); and
WHEREAS, a copy of said tentative map, together with the
Planning staff report and other related papers and documents have
been filed with this City Council. .
NOW, THEREFOE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of-the City
of Bakersfield, as follows:
1. It is hereby found and determined that the proposed
subdivision designated Tract No. 8728 , together with-the pro-
--visions-for it's--design and improvement, i'S"consi~ten~ with the
general plan and applicable specific plans of the City of Bakersfield.
2. That a copy of this Resolution be forthwith trans.
mitted to the' Planning Department by the City Clerk.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 6th day of May , 19 74..,

missioner 'Dean 'Gay, seconded by Commissioner Joe Davis, and duly carried, that map

is consistent with applicable general and specific plans and recommended ~hat said map
be approved as submitted and on File, subject to the following. conditions as set forth:
Water supply to be provided to the satisfaction of the fire ch'ief off the
City Fire Department, and Fire hydrant locations as shown in RED,
2, Easements to be provided to the satisfaction of the city eng[neero
Drainage to be provided to the satisfaction of the city eng[neero
Soils report with minimum data in' accordance .with Ordinance 1613 N° S.,
(Res, 38-66)·
No building permit on any lot within the tract shah be issued or be
vatud until the final soil report for this tract has been filed with the
building director and the city engineer and certified by the engineer
on the final recorded map. Where the final soil report has not been com-
pleted until after the recording of the final map, a separate certificate
signed and issued by the city engineer must be recorded with the County
Recorder of Kern County before a building permit may be issued,
Provisions to be made for adequate fire protect[on to the satis~action
of the fire chief of the City Fire Depai?tment·
Turnaround easement in alley behind Lot 1, recorded in Book 4666 of
Deeds, Page 86, automatically terminates upon recordat[on of the
subdivision map.

width in tract with transition to 40 Feet in knuckteo (See note 1-B -
F'[te copy) Hast[. Acres Drive north of tract to be dedicated to city
and improved 40 feet [n width (or) a temporary turnaround to be pro-
vided adjacent to tract,
'Hast[ Acres Drive - between tract boundary and M[ng Avenue to be
dedicated and improved by separate instrument,
